All Welcome
Time to get a move on, Party City! <3
Awareness returned in stages; a fleeting sense of warmth, the drifting tones of soft voices she knew in some bone-deep, wordless way. Her daughters. It was @Petal's soft forehead Reverie pressed a kiss to first on the morning she emerged from her fog, as simply and effortlessly as stepping from shadow into light.

But her smile was tired upon her daughter, perhaps not so bright as it'd been before. She was so much taller, brilliant golden eyes a shade darker now with age and all the things she should never have seen. Reverie didn't linger on that now, though. It's time for us to go, She murmured to her youngest daughter, pressing another kiss to her cheek before she turned in search of @Dahlia.

Reverie was conscious again — as suddenly as she had left the girls, she was returning to them. Dahlia was not far off when she heard her mother's voice, and it took no time for the to find one another.

She found the words stolen from her throat. She worried. Should Reverie be up and walking? Was Dusty around? She waited patiently to be addressed but wagged her tail in eager apprehension.

she could have wept and wailed with joy, much like she had with anguish on the day their mother slipped into something far from reach.

not so long ago they had discussed trading to find things to bring her back to them. then she had met a man who had told her of healing plants and she had set out with dahlia to collect some.

but they didn't need any of that.

mama was here and she was awake. petal cherished that kiss and knew she should forever. she had never stopped to think that one day kisses or hugs might stop. then they had, then everything had been so different.

she became her mother's shadow, tucked near her as they trailed along.

she held no reservations that anyone else may have. only excitement. they could still travel and trade! but now mother could be there. they could be tended to again and enjoy one another's company without so much frantic planning.

she was blissful ignorance and radiant sunshine in this moment.
