With others leaving to find the old claim, Soleil was left alongside with a few others, but it still felt a bit empty. She had gained the confidence of venturing more out, but the previous nightmare within the blackfeather woods still left a scar in her heart, however she was getting there. It helped there was a kind gentleman then a scornful one, soothing her reasoning to come out more often.

She entered a wasteland; it gave the lavender woman a shudder. While covered in winter, the remains of what it was became clear, as she moved the snow to show the scorching marks. It was a shame, it looked like a beautiful place, but was sadly taken away from the fires. She sought out to explore more of the area, hoping to see if perhaps life started to begin within The Heartwood.

Her energies were higher than normal, as was her aggression; she knew what this precluded by now, but had no interest in expending her aggression upon her subordinates. They had all been enforced out of their heat but for Alya, who had yet to request her own cubs (did she wish for them still?), and so went for a quick jaunt beyond the borders. She did not expect to be long.

Backturned ears caught the sound of Desdemona, who had taken to being nearer to her as of late. No doubt she noted the change as she endured the immediate effects of her preestrus as surely as any other did. Hydra was testier than normal as of late, and still she did not turn her fang toward Desdemona. There was no reason to; Hydra had long since established her authority among the females in her hierarchy.

A scent on the wind, then. Familiar. Too familiar.

For the Queen whose peripherals were already dotted and blurred with red, it was enough to push her just beyond the edge. It was not her own voice that spoke—in fact, Hydra hardly recognized that she spoke at all—as she rumbled: how dare she return? pausing for a moment before pressing on, ears forward and hackles blown: the wretch who hurt my mother—I told her to never return, told her I would kill her for it

Speedy. Hydra smelled Speedy on the wind. Her keen nose had picked it up, and she was none too far from Soleil for that to be possible; in fact, as she rounded the tree, Hydra spotted her just there. Hydra did not notice the difference in their fur patterns, blotted out by the shadows and by

red, nothing but red for this woman who had ripped from her, her family, her parents—her childrens grandparents—everything. The void left behind by it could be felt then, but it could be filled. It could be filled with the blood of the bitch to blame. Then, then there would no longer be that emptiness.

Hydra surged forward, as silent and sudden as death often was with nothing but the gleam of her fangs to be seen beyond the pitch black of her.

Speedy had killed her; and now, Speedy would die.

The moutain was getting irate, as the woman were going into heat, especially the Queen. She was thankful the day had passed, as it had been wisked away by Hydra, but left on a more thankful note. She did not wish to continue the usual season, and would seek the same result when next year was to come. Quick and easy.. Though for another, it would be a long time.

Desdemona was a dutiful guard and sought to guard the Queen until the day would end, as surely many would crown around the spire for their plentiful females. Especially so as the Queen ventured down the mountain, she felt it was within her duties to follow through, even if the wolf was more aggressiv. The spider was thankful she yet to turn upon her own. So down they went, to the unknown.

There was a scent, but she did not know of it. Desdemona thought nothing until Hydra hissed out words of pure anger, and a vengeance hinting toward it. She knew naught of the previous empire that ruled Moonspear, only the current had mattered to the bastardly wolf. Like a thunder, she could hear the footsteps of force hammer at the ground, as she ran toward the victim.

No- not a victim. An enemy. If the wolf who she sought for dare hurt the Queen's own mother, the previous ruler, she would follow through to help in the revenge. Against one wolf meant the enemy of the whole moon mountain. She wanted blood, of this wolf.

Desdemona circled around, watching the bloodlust of Hydra come through and bare her fangs at the woman without a warning. Death was her result, it was not but a spare, but a sheer will of strength. She too, pounced forward like a panther to claw at the enemy, her growl ranging through as the two would decease the enemy.

Soleil was in panic and confusion. Two wolves emerged from the darkness, but they bared fangs of violence, a bloodlust surging through. They did not want to scare her off, no, she could tell they wanted her blood. She didn't know what caused the misfortune of meeting so many horrible wolves, as there was @Hela, the one who attacked her for simply being there, and @Astara, who watched in glee. Now there was two, one of ink with a blue glare that had more aggression then the earthy-wolf, who gave a cold gaze toward her.

She ran, but not without harm. Soleil did not know which one, but she could feel the pain at her thighs, and rip out toward the back as she surged forward in a haste of speed. She felt an ooze drip, but couldn't give on, or she'd be prey to the two wolves. What they did want- or why did they want her? The woman was so confused, she didn't understand what caused their fustration, for there was no border, nor' a pack, where did they come from?

Who were they? Why were they doing this? Lavenders pooled with crystals, as she felt pain from the attacks.

"Help!"

It is the sound of chaos that draws the beast to the wolves. It is their presence that keeps her there. She watched them silently, patiently, from the cover of the shadows. The the Savior is a greedy and glutinous monster. One wolf was not enough to quell her hunger. She needs more, more, more. One, two, three. Who shall be her next victim?

She knew who would meet there demise as soon as the pair leaped forward. It is that one—the first one to run—who would be slaughtered. The beast leapt from her cover and chased down her target with confidence. If the other two were intelligent, they would stay out of her way. If not, then they would have to die along with the other.

Desdemona moved with her. Hydra pressed forward, snapping fangs seeking purchase on something, anything—whether or not they hit empty air or malleable flesh, she could not know. Her tongue was without taste; this encounter brought her little joy. She was numb in her anger; Hydra simply wanted this done. She wanted her mother to be avenged, and her father too—Speedy had taken advantage of him.

All semblance of rationality fled as Soleil ran; it was a hunters drive that encouraged Hydra to give chase. But such a thing came to an abrupt halt when beige streaked forth from the shadows. Hydra's path changed immediately; she turned to blockade Desdemona's path with a command to fall back, delivered, attempting to leave room for her to stop before collision.

Desdemona would not fall victim to those flaying claws. Neither would she. Only Speedy would. Hydra did not watch for very long; she knew this cougar would kill the bitch, and would not intervene. Hydra did not care that she was not the one to deliver the killing blow—she only cared that it was delivered. Strange, how one gets exactly what they deserve—one way or another, Hydra murmured with a shake of her head, turning on her heel to quit the scene and encouraging Desdemona to follow.

She hoped The Savior left no trace of her.

Desdemona did as said, halting the chase and falling back to the Queen's side. Eyes followed to what the reason was- a beast of the night that ventured forth. They could've become it's fellow prey, but instead before them was another unfortunate soul that was the ultimate victim instead. It lurched forward in a haste that she knew it was the demise of the other, but a well deserved one.

The Alpha's disaste was noted, to an extreme side. She did not hide her hatred, and those who got on her badside were one's who held horrid reasonings, "Who is she?" Desdemona asked with an ear flick, for she didn't know what had happened before then. She knew there was previous Alpha's before Hydra, and they had passed away months prior. Though the spider was unaware of all the events, that included Speedy, and the misfortune of a swapping of wolves.

It'd be the first night she would see someone get mauled by a cougar.

Crystals fell from her lavender eyes as near death, her mind had raced through the memories Soleil held. She was a simple child between two, and the only survivor of an unfortunate litter of stillborns. What was worse the birth had taken her dearest mother, a woman that she would never meet, only stories to be shared by her dear Papa. Oh how she adored her father.

She could feel the waters dripping down further as the woman thought about him. He tried his best, but no man could provide milk. He left her at her mothers maiden Pack, an unloving group of wolves. They never shared the warmth she desired, nor' the care of watching her as Soleil would wander away. They gave her food and water, a place to live.. But not the family, to this day she so craved. She sought for so long and thought to found.. Especially when her dear Papa had passed.

She should be thankful how careless the pack was, if it wasn't she wouldn't have met him. The warmth and love was all there, he never abandoned her, only tried to save. But, he was gone. He was an old man, weak and frail, couldn't hunt for himself.. How she wished to see it sooner, how she regretted not saying 'I love you,' one more time.

Maybe soon, she may see him.

But no!

Soleil wished to live!

She wished to live the dream of a family! She wanted a husband, kids, and a loving pack! How she had it all- but all to be taken away.

Her limps tangled, and so she fell with a horror upon her soften features...
