attn @Dragomir <3 wanted to get this up; had a hectic january!!!

Hydra sought her mentee, one notched ear flicking as she pursued one of his more recent trails. Unsurprisingly, it brought her near the borders—her own frequent haunt—though for it her desire to meet him was a little slower for it. He was diligent in his markings, but she marked with him to strengthen the scent of their claim. For a time she was joined by @Vega but as she came closer to the Wodakru male, she urged her daughter to backtrack and ensure no stone was unturned and to continue marking that way. Lyra and Alya were in that direction having been with the two of them even earlier than this, and she knew her daughter would not be by her lonesome for very long.

As she bridged what gap was left between them, Hydra thought on many things. From the moment he could, Dragomir had worked within Moonspear and with she and her brother to better himself. His presence and interactions with packmates was obvious enough to her through scent; he had fully immersed himself here, and when she thought of loyalty he came to mind as surely as her own family did at this point. Her family understandably aspired to remain here, but she thought of the empire she wished to build; Dragomir was like a son to her, and she imagined him at the head of some portion of it someday in her vision of the future. If that came to fruition there would need to be more to teach him, though she knew him a capable wolf. Thus far Hydra had seen him succeed in anything that he put his mind to; she was proud of him, of his growth... but she wondered if he aspired to lead at all, himself. If there was one thing she did not wish to do, it was push him in any direction he did not wish to go in.
