All Welcome
failure haunted her steps as she returned to the mountain. howl left her muzzle, a call for @Hydra, though her frame was lined with tiredness. she paused on the borders, wanting to speak to the queen before crossing them once more -- she'd been gone a while on her task, and moonspear's scent had fast faded.

Hydra came swiftly having heard the call; some time had passed, and Hydra wondered if the girl had found success out there. She was confident enough that she had taught the girl well how to fend for herself that she did not worry, though admittedly when the call came she felt relief. Dragomir would have heard the call and know she had returned too, and this gave her some peace of mind too.

Soon the juvenile was in her sights, and Hydra's tail waved in greeting as she moved to bridge the gap between them entirely as to exchange scents with her once again, should Isilme not step away. Circling, Hydra looked to her with an expectant, curious look: well?

Isilme had not succeeded in her endeavor, Hydra had come to learn; this meant (Hydra supposed) that Ying had yet to return home, or had done so at a time that had not aligned with when Hydra had sent her off. Not taking it as a personal failure to the detriment of the girl, Hydra encouraged she rest and find her brother when she was able to at least comfort him with the knowledge of her return. Whether she did or not was up to her, but Hydra resumed her own patrol in the interim.
