Conception
Arric had gotten a bite of wander lust for a brief moment, and he had headed towards the ocean. He wouldn't be gone more than a day, maybe two, but he had needed a breather. He made sure to tell Akavir he'd be back within his timeframe. There was a part of him that also wanted to feel out where the attackers had gone. He felt that they were probably nearer than they would have liked.

He had finally made it and he stood staring out across the wide blue expanse of ocean from cliff sides that looked down over. It was dangerous here, but absolute in it's beauty. Now he was a river man himself. But the ocean as old as she was. Well, it felt right to just look upon her.

He had to travel through a forest that reminded him of windsong and poetry and wound his way through tall limbs of majestry. The sounds that whistled through there were ten fold and vibrant and they had made his skin hum with a buzz underneath it all.

Blue eyes stared out, white ring prominent. And a gentle smile broke across his face.

With the rising sun, Chacal felt herself spring to life, her senses begging for renewal. She'd felt herself become interested in her own affairs as early as a week ago, and had scoped out the lands near to her pack for suitors. Wanderlust had nipped her in her sleep and now she felt its nectar course through her veins, driving her from her packlands to search. Now, her search was more earnest.

When she saw the dark male, she felt herself drawn to the kindness in his eyes, which showed his appreciation for the ocean. Her mood made her brazen, biased to look upon him kindly for he was a beautiful creature made all the more alluring by the wine-drunk gaze of desire. With a calm but captive gaze she appraised him, lowering her head and uttering a soft, almost musical woof in greeting as she made her way toward him- hoping he would find her company appealing.
It can be assumed that if Chacal is speaking, she will be singing. Her speaking patterns will always have a melodic quality to them.

Arric had started to feel the stirrings in the world around them. He knew what was coming. He hadn't expected it so soon, but he had known. It was with trepidation he traveled during these times. He didn't neccessarily want to father children and then disappear from their lives, but he also knew that sometimes that was simply how nature was. All he could hope was if anything like that did happen, he shared his name and pack so if they ever wanted to find him they'd know how.

It was here on the cusp of sea and sand that a siren caught his gaze, and he heard her gentle chuff. When blue eyes turned to hers, he froze at the goddess that moved like a cat. Cape of spun gold and shadows. A sweet little line from temple down, of just barely there white. Like the ring about his eye. The reddish hues of his fur hit the light and he tilted his head.

Body with grace he shifted. Tail waving. As he murmured a soft Hello.

He met her with his own nose, big blue eyes peering into golden ones.

When he turned toward her, she caught her first glimpse of the white ring around his eye, drawing her gaze in as though it was a target. Friendliness seeped into his features, and it was with a pleasant voice that she was greeted and welcomed. She felt ravenous, but calmed the dragon within her, stifling its roar to a gentle, guttural ululation, that rose in pitch in a quiet rrroooo. A croon from a raven, returning to its nest.

Peacefully, she allowed her tail to wag as she brought her nose to his, moving tentatively so she might not invade his personal space without his consent. He smelled of fresh water, a match for the coolness of his gaze. Here, she could see the difference in their size; he was well-built, his confirmation sturdy and strong, pelt thick and lustrous.

Once she had caught his scent, she stepped forward to flirtatiously nip at the fur lining his cheek, below the eye with the white ring, before she frisked backwards, dipping into a playbow.

"Come dance wid me, in de surf of de sea," She chimed invitingly.
It can be assumed that if Chacal is speaking, she will be singing. Her speaking patterns will always have a melodic quality to them.

She met his gaze and he saw the sleeping dragon there. Knew that he was about to either have the best night of his life, or she was gonna eat him whole. Not sure which, and not really caring either.

Her tail waved and she touched nose to nose. He dipped his head down to bump her gently, giving her his silent acceptance of consent to move into his space. Invade it.

A nip, sharp pain, turned to pleasure in an instant and blue eyes darkened at the edges, soft purl deep in his throat, followed by an mm.

Large, agile body bent to mimic the play bow. An ear tilting forward at the voice that curled around him like music and windsong. Her voice lyrical, pretty, and he was lost.

I'd love to dance.

He darted forward and gently nipped her in return and then waited patiently for her to lead him in a game of cat and mouse.

She had found her target willing, eager, but gentle too.  With a smile she turned and led him to the shoreline where the sand turned wet and cool beneath her feet. She knew the feeling of the tide's end by the feeling of the sand- and had stopped expertly. When the wave came in, it halted only a inch away from her toes, before it ebbed back away from her. It was her way of asking the sea to receive them- and it beckoned.

She stepped in, and the wave rolled in, pushing past her ankles and drawing away, though she only went so far into the shallows that the water could not let her go or rob her from the land. Knee deep, she could feel the ebb and flow of the waves, and began to use it to influence her movements. She whirled and swayed, moving with the waves, sometimes springing out of the water to break above the rush of seafoam.

She turned her golden gaze to him, eyes laughing; inviting him to step in, and move with her.
It can be assumed that if Chacal is speaking, she will be singing. Her speaking patterns will always have a melodic quality to them.

Arric wasn't certain what he was getting into, and he briefly thought his father might be a little disappointed, but he had no ties, she clearly didn't want ties. So this was okay right. Blue eyes darted across the ocean watching as the tide ebbed and flowed, eager to please and touch. He could handle that.

Black furred beast stood still and watched, with hungry and intelligent eyes. Taking in the movements she made, learning them so that he could at least give some of what she did. This wasn't a one wolf dance after all, and both should aim to have some fun and please.

Finally, he stepped in. The shock of the cold, widening his eyes. Then with years of meditation on his fur lined body. Athleticism at it's finest, he mimicked her movements, adding his own. His leaps were wider versus, longer.

And he would dance closer to her, nip, paw and then dart away, with a smile on his face. And return back again, reeling and then releasing. Watching her as she moved through the tide as free as abird. She was clearly a beach wolf. And it felt like a pocket of their own little world here, where silence reined, but the crash of waves and tide, and the soft sounds of splashes along the foamy shoreline.

His joy spilled from him like water over the edge of a waterfall. Into the waves he broke, and leapt, swirling, clearing high above the waves as a dolphin might. With each pass, they flirted- stealing nips and skimming teeth through salt-wine fur. She roved and lunged, and with each whirl away, she reined herself in- narrowing the distance between them so that once she leaned her side against his, they might weather the waves together.

She moved in to match her shoulder against his, keeping them broad-side to the beach, but placing herself between the dark man and the waves that would inevitably push toward them. This was her sea, after all- and she had invited him to her playground so she would be married between the two. She leaned against him, stepping her paws very near to his as the wave came in alongside them. It broke near her shoulder, flicking seafoam across her side. When it withdrew, she stepped away- hoping he might move with her, side-stepping with the waves.
It can be assumed that if Chacal is speaking, she will be singing. Her speaking patterns will always have a melodic quality to them.

Arric loved the sea, and he loved to play. He was many facets of all kinds of things, and he made it clear as he moved about. But a new burn began beneath the skin and fur. One that had been there from the beginning, but was becoming an all out inferno. And he was absolutely helpless against it's rage.

She flirted and teased, twining sinuous body around his and against his side. Pressing hard against him, and with each thrust of the waves she was thrown further into his side. A break between the two, but that she seemed to enjoy.

He followed her movements, blue eyes bright upon her. The light touched water playing peek-a-boo with her golden patterns. He didn't wish to press. This was he dance, he was just following the lead.

Mature Content Warning

This thread has been marked as mature. By reading and/or participating in this thread, you acknowledge that you are of age or have permission from your parents to do so.

The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: prossible conception past this point

No light would pass between them when the waves rose against her sides. When the water rose, their fur floated on the water, their bodies almost indistinguishable as two separate entities until the wave went back out again. It was cool against her skin though she felt warm beside him, and felt fire brewing in her belly.

The waves recoiled, but Chacal did not move from his side, but leaned against him, crooning. She invited the freshwater man to her saltwaters and the ocean had blessed him with brine. She saw now in his eyes the light blue of skies that stretched out forever across the ocean she loved- and knew that she had chosen him. Her heart hammered like the beating of a dove's wings as she tilted her chin back and crooned a note to beg him to yield to the siren's song.
It can be assumed that if Chacal is speaking, she will be singing. Her speaking patterns will always have a melodic quality to them.

This was a new experience for the large male. But he enjoyed it all the same. Tilting his head downward, he slowly began a gentle tease along her spine, receding with the waves she seemed to love so much. He would do his best to emulate the ocean for her.

His fur felt heavy and his chest burned. His undoing was the soft croon that she sang to the skies and him. He shifted and surged forward with the tide, a come and get me grin on his face. And he began an age old dance, that had risen to the tides and the skies since before his time.

Thanks for the thread! Arric is a delight- I'd love for another thread! Could we maybe just tuck a [ M] in the title of the thread, and mark it as "conception"?

Like a leaf on the water, she was swept up and whisked away into the chase, where they would tangle and mingle and dance in the surf. She'd come seeking one just like him- and found herself overjoyed to have been graced by the gift of someone who met her standards. Like cool, dark lake water he had an energy that was calming and serene, but when flushed with dance and song he became wily and spirited. All qualities she sought to have embedded in her future children.

And as in the previous year, she found herself glowing in the wake of it all- affection spread through her heart which was easily won...Though she would not allow herself to enquire much of his circumstances. If she allowed herself to know him, she knew she might feel more. So she begged him only for his attendance for as long as he was willing, to ensure he could sire her next litter, before parting ways and leaving a man she only wished she could know more.

But- she told herself, when she left the beach- she would know his children. And she would love them for the blessing they would be to her life.
It can be assumed that if Chacal is speaking, she will be singing. Her speaking patterns will always have a melodic quality to them.
