All Welcome
This is set for tomorrow (2/24). Lane and Tuuluuwaq are following up the rear and stopping in to check with some of the other packs along their way. Issorartuyok and those who traveled with him/ahead of him are welcome to post in response to this. I’m going to tag all of you just so that you have it on your radar! ^^ Welcome to our new home. We will be working to get the relocation threads completed and submitted very soon. @Lane @Rye @Imaq @Tuuluuwaq @Heda @Ensio @Calida @Taktuq @Antha @Tessa @Veteran @Sikuliak – I believe I got everyone. <3

Their journey was a long one. Across snow and mountains, through valleys and forests, the wolves had marched on toward the mountain in the distance and away from the glacier that they had once known to be home. Issorartuyok felt a peculiar sense of sadness in leaving the village. It had been the first place to accept him and to give him a chance to prove himself. But it was the people of their village that had given him those things, and he was grateful that he traveled with them.

Antha and Tessa had made for fine partners. The northerner was keen on keeping an eye on the others, though. He would stray ahead of them and sniff around for signs of Veteran and Heda. Worry filled his heart as he thought of the young ones. Issorartuyok could only hope that they were safe and that they had already found their way back to the summit.

Once they had crossed the last mountain range and had rested their eyes upon their intended claim, Issorartuyok breathed a sigh of relief.

It was not the glacier, but there was bountiful prey and there were no other wolves who would prove to be a threat to their people. The mountain was sound, looming and beautiful. The northerner could only admire it as they crossed to its base and stood upon the ground where it grew.

Issorartuyok drew his head back and howled to the others in the village.

We are home.

her feelings echoed that of the northern man.  she had not spent much time yet with the wolves in which she had found a home in, yet with each passing day and through their travels she felt a kinship towards them deepen within her.

she was not much for travel, but having tessa and issorartuyok helped.  a sigh of relief flooded from her as they crested the last mountain and their new home came into view.

it's beautiful, she said.  warmer, too, which she found to be kind.  she nudged against tessa, tail wagging slightly.  home!

"they're here!" heda delightedly nipped @Veteran and skirted off around the bend.
it was so good to see everyone here — wait? lane and tuuluuwaq? her eyes searched for them with a little frown. but that man seemed crazy over her leader. if lane was with him then she was safe, heda decided.
she pranced among her pack with a little smile, feeling her spirits truly become buoyant for the first time in weeks.

The summit welcomed her, and Wayfarer was spurred by new appreciation when at last she crested the Sunspire and saw it reach into the clouds beyond. She quickened her stride despite the ache in travel-worn joints, eager to close the distance and embrace the changes with rare optimism.

As the girl neared, it became clear that she was not alone. Others had found their way to their new mountain home and Wayfarer noted pawprints in the snow. Issorartuyok, surely, with his longer stride and determination; was that a whiff of @Veteran she detected on the breeze?

She twitched an ear forward at the Alpha's call and sent up her voice in response, announcing her approach to comrades. When at last Wayfarer found the silver-kissed leader she went to him with a low-wagging tail and a rare glint of excitement in her amber eye as she reached to mouth respectfully at the furs of his throat.

"After all we've been through, everything I've done,
it can't all be for nothing."

At long last, the journey was over. It was long and taxing, but they had done it. They arrived in pairs, filtering in to come together once again as Atautsikut. The immediate land around the summit was familiar. He breathed in the crisp, fresh mountain air. "Here we are. Our new home." He said to @Taktuq, who had been his travel buddy.

Issorartuyok's howl pierced the air in declaration. "C'mon. We can check out the hot springs later." He grinned. With pep in his step, the glacier boy zoomed ahead to meet his leader. On the way, he threw out an excited, rallying cry. He was here and the others were surely not behind. There was still much to do. Discoveries and new beginnings awaited.

Also pping Siku here too just to keep things moving. :) @Rye for reference

The she-shepherd could not deny that there was a fierce ache in her hip when their journey finally reached its conclusion, nor that her paws had grown hard and calloused as her muscles burned -- developing new strategies of movements in the face of her limb's loss. Even so, a beam of sunlit happiness bloomed upon her features when the trio of Qeyas and Blacks regrouped with what would become Atautsikut.

A home. A village

Such excitement swelled in her chest that the freckled wolfdog almost felt it might burst from her ribcage. Her yipping song joined in with the others for a moment, bumping and nuzzling her son and mate equally as her fluffy form began to wriggle exuberantly.

After most of the tremors had settled, she nudged Sikuliak encouragingly towards the other children -- watching him flit hesitantly to their village-kin with a warm smile.
"...and all around was the bitter arctic cold and the immense silence of the North..."
