All Welcome
Elijah was out on his own. He was somewhat old enough to be out on his own now, but he did miss his father, half brother, and siblings. He wondered what they were up to now as he explored the mountains he called his home.

She left Swiftcurrent Creek feeling rattled, unsteady. So much of herself had been tied to that pack, once. Now, like Kvarsheim, she scarcely recognized it — but Akavir still hated her. That was unchanged, at least.

What Reverie did not expect to find on her way back was a lone, blue-eyed boy. Too young to be alone, she thought, though he was around the age she'd been when she'd left The Gilded Sea. Hello, Reverie called out, detouring from her path home in favor of approaching him. There was something about him... something dog-like, maybe. It reminded her of herself.

Startled and alarmed by his aggression, Reverie took several steps back. It seemed obvious that he didn't want to be bothered. And Reverie herself could not afford injury.

As much as it pained her, she felt she had no choice but to flee. She turned and ran, leaving the hostile boy far behind.
