Can my character be a healer even if I personally know nothing about plants?

I'm lazy and don't feel like looking up what a bunch of plants do just to be able to play a healer, but I've never been a healer on Wolf and I want to try something different. Can I be vague about what plants I'm using and still have a character with the healer trade? I know we have to show like, a character being skilled at something, but I don't have time to learn what plants do what for a game that has no bearing on my real life. So can I just like... fudge stuff and say like, "And then Character A applied a poultice of some healing herbs" and never actually specify what plants they are?
