You can reclaim an account name if it meets the requirements outlined here.

You may not reclaim a character, even with zero posts, unless the owner of the account (and the character) relinquishes it either to you directly or via the Maintenance thread linked above.

I archive threads if my partner goes inactive and/or there are no new replies for several weeks. I'm more than happy to continue an archived thread if you're interested. Just revive it (via maintenance) and tag me in your next reply. :)
