She insisted she wasn’t, then explained her limp. Towhee nodded absently, sympathetically, then thrust her nose closer to Aquene’s shoulder. She didn’t doubt the woman, she was just trying to figure out where that scent was coming from.

The Redhawk drew back just in the nick of time to catch the, “Why do you ask?” You smell like it, only… not really… kinda sorta…? Towhee’s lips formed a thoughtful moue as she lapsed into thought, only for Aquene’s flapping lips to distract her.

Oh, ah, yeah. I’m pretty sore from sparring too, was wondering if you might be able to help me out, came Towhee’s response.
