It sounded like the two she-wolves were on speaking terms, though before Towhee could finally delve into the subject, Hydra said something else that sidetracked her.

She thought a moment, then answered baldly, "No." There was no part of her that was remotely okay these days. She shook her head at the next question. It had been so long since they'd seen one another, how could Towhee possibly cover it all? And she found she didn't really want to talk about herself, not right at this moment. How could she even begin to tell the tale of Asterism Grove and how nearly everyone and everything she loved had slipped through her fingers? "But how about you?" she pressed, much more curious about Hydra's goings-on and hopeful that her circumstances were much different than her own.
