But then the timing of a certain glance and comment distracted her. She was certain it was purely incidental, though Towhee too looked at her child and then back to Kukutux. A loud, sudden bray of laughter escaped her.

I think he’s a little young for an arranged marriage, she quipped, still chuckling about it as Kukutux moved to gather more refreshments.
