She snorted to herself as she plodded along the borders, finishing up the last leg of a boringly routine patrol. The Sovereign then made the trek to the territory's namesake landmark, keen to get a drink of fresh water despite the heaps of snow surrounding her.

She spotted Alyx as she made her way to the caldera's edge. "Sup?" she called to the teenager—very nearly an adult, now—right before she bent to slake her thirst. The icy cold water hit her insides like a punch to the gut, making her shudder a little as she raised her head and looked to see if Alyx had ventured any closer.
