It would’ve made a lot more sense to go home and hide in the back of the Hobbit Hole. But Towhee refused to put herself into horny jail… or subject her grandson and his pregnant mate to that. Nobody wanted to be cooped up with a randy, smelly old lady, so she howled to let @Killdeer and @Amalia she was going to hit the road for a few days.

Every time this happened, she knew it was the last time. Well, evidently, Towhee didn’t know shit about fuck. As she headed toward the lowlands, all she could think about was finding @Soto. She needed some of that Latin loving pronto, the thought of which had her hot and bothered enough that she stopped and threw herself into Serpent Lake.

She’d always considered the term “heat” to be entirely metaphorical, but this was something else. Towhee could’ve sworn she saw steam coming off her body as she plunged it into the lake’s depths. The cool water took the edge off but she knew Soto would do a much better job. Bubbles burst from her mouth as she groaned, then resurfaced.
