She plucked a hunk of venison out of the proverbial pantry in the back of the Hobbit Hole, then reemerged and settled back on the ground. Keeping her orange eyes on the pup, she put her teeth to the meat, tearing off her first bite and turning it into a puree with her teeth. It was a relief to spit it out a moment later, rather than try to force it into her rebellious stomach.
