Redhawk Caldera Caution ahead.

The leaking hadn’t lasted (thank fuck…) but it had made her remember her bout of milk fever and @Aquene’s wise words of yore. She told @Hotah to bring her fresh fish and mushrooms, though Towhee wasn’t so pregnant that she couldn’t fend for herself some. She planned to forage a bit today, eventually making her way to the lake to see if she could catch a carp or something.

Light rain misted over her scarred back as she shuffled around the caldera’s interior, nosing through the leaf litter in search of fungi. She found some familiar mushrooms growing in some damp soil beneath a small log she overturned. Towhee made quick work of them.

When she came across another cluster, this time attached to the bark of a dead (or maybe dying) hardwood tree, she paused. She didn’t recognize these ones. She sniffed at them, though they just smelled earthy. Their bright orange color warned of danger though. Towhee licked her lips, wondering who among the Redhawks might be able to identify them.

Raising her head and blinking cold drizzle from her eyes, the Elder summoned @Alivia.
