All Welcome
attn @Callyope but aw! <3

daughters split.

kukutux sought another, and with a wrapping of early herb-cuttings and rich beavertail fat.

senses said that new life would come to forneskja, but now moonwoman had come formally to see about it.

she walked upright and pointed through the vast forest, nodding gently to those she met on gentle search for her daughter and what news might be here.

her eyes avoided the lake.

Kinusi tilted her head as the woman materialized as if from the ether. But she smiled none the less. She knew her. Maybe not well. but She knew of who she was. And her father always spoke well of her. So shed from the trees with a gentle look.

Hello Moonwoman. I don't know if we've properly met. I'm Kinusi.

She figured her face and brown highlights would show her parentage, but perhaps not.

it was a girl who greeted her, one vaguely familiar by sight alone. that sense deepened as they drew near to one another, and kukutux smiled.

"it is good to know your face, kinusi. you are child of alaric?" she asked, pale ears cupping forward with interest, and wondering at when the young wolf had departed the mountain.

Kinusi knew moonwoman. Not well, bur enough. And her father spoke highly of her. It was nice to know a familiar face.

A small smile. Yes I'm his. Nice to meet ya. Dad speaks highly of you.

Kinusi looked around. Actually she thought perhaps it was time to return to the spea. She felt adrift baseless here.

"i think much of alaric," kuktutux rejoined. "he has much healing skill and a heart that is kind."

she wondered if it was the same for kinusi.

she thought of what she had brought for her daughter. "would you share this fat with me?" moonwoman asked, indicating the hide-wrapping.

Kinusi smiled at the mention of her father. He was pretty awesome. And to know he had respect of others. That was great to Kini. Because to her her dad deserved it. He was here dad and he was amazing.

I am glad to hear it. I bet he would be too. I'm learning some of his healing stuff. Though I am more of a song bird than a nurse bird.

Kini blinked surprised and then nodded wtih a small little happy glow in her gaze. Sure will. So tell me about yourself moonewoman?

"i am the mother of many daughters and many sons. they have made their own path away, and back, and away again. we are nuiruk."

once; many.

she offered the fat. "i am also atsak, to make a meeting between man and woman who wish to be married."

but this too, released.

"now, kinusi. i would hear of you."

Kinusi frowned in thought. Dad always said his family traveled a lot. He said it's just the way of things. But I am sorry your kids aren't nearer.

She at least had only went a stones throw away from her dad. He could come and tease her if he so wanted.

The last part though and her ears tilted forward. A matchmaker. How interesting, she wondered and marveled at it for a minute. Briefly wondering if she could do such a thing, quickly deciding against it. She was just a bit too flighty.

I am a singer and a storyteller and a healer. I prefer to sing to the other two, but as dad says you should be versatile.

kukutux shook her head. "it is the way things are. sons leave and daughters leave. mine departed to make their own villages," she explained to kinusi with no small pride. "your father is right," agreed the duck, more impressed with alaric, whom she had already enjoyed.

she glanced about, then back to the forneskja girl. "will you tell me one of your stories? for it, i will trade the knowing of any plant you like."

she suspected this might appeal to kinusi, but kukutux had learned not to assume.
