Joining
Leaving Sumac's place in all of this vague. @Silvertip, @Angel Oak, @Pine @Ponderosa, feel free to chime in when you feel like it. @Kukutux, @Vaire @Aiolos and others. We come in peace. :D No need to make this priority.

The trek had been challenging, but Raindrop had experience with scaling mountains, as she had when she was wandering as a loner, almost a year ago. Oh, how time had changed so much in her life, for better or worse. She had made connections, found love, joined a pack, and created a family. She had been successful, in more ways than one, and she was grateful for everything she had been given.

But, it had come time to make yet another change. A new year meant new opportunities. And it was with hope, excitement, and worry, that she climbed the mountain, and descended into the spine. She was originally of Moontide, therefore had no need to wait outside the borders, even though pressing on into the territory felt strange, and almost awkward.

Behind her, her children followed. She would occasionally walk behind them, for safety, but then continued ahead of them, walking along a path that must have seen many paws over many years.

Soon, they reached the edges of the camp, and she stopped, "We are here, children." She announced with a tired smile, setting down the bundles she had carried for Rodyn. "You may explore more if we are welcomed as members of the pack. "So for now, just stay close." She then called out for the leadership, and waited patiently.

moontide's waning say heavily upon the heart of moonwoman. she had not yet visited the plateau again; she had not gone to the spear. there was muse in her yet to walk among these places, and yet her energies were low.

kukutux counted the losses — and what had been gained.

raindrop was vaguely familiar for her connection to rodyn. the pale duck let slide a heap of hides and stood to greet the woman.

she came with many children! a smile flashed to life upon the face of moonwoman, and her heart was glad. "please. come with me to the ulax. we will eat and share words."

her eyes took in the gathering of wrapped things. "you mean to stay?" her voice said this was welcome indeed.

Sorry for the delay. Been busy with out-of-game stuff.

Before too long of a wait, the matriarch of Moonglow approached Raindrop and her family. Her majestic white coat gleamed, reflecting like the moon against the white of the fallen snow.

A bright smile lit up Moonwoman's face, when she saw the Morningbreeze children, and it in turn brought a wide smile to Raindrop's maw. Raindrop was no doubt a proud mother. "It is a pleasure to see you again, Moonwoman." She then turned to address her four daughters; "This is Ponderosa, Silvertip, Angel Oak and Pine." Her children had already grown to be the size of their mother, or at least close in height. "They are soon to be nine months old."

Without a second thought, Moonwoman instructed her and her children to come to her Ulax, that they would eat and speak with each other. "Thank you greatly, Moonwoman." She replied with much gratitude in her voice. "We do. That is our hope, if you are willing. We have brought many belongings from Moontide, to aid Rodyn. Furs, skins and herbs. I too, pledge my service, in whatever way you find fit."

i added ponderosa and raindrop! if u know what any of the other players want lmk, otherwise i think they're at the time of ageing out of the NPC rank <3

"you will give help with the healing," kukutux invited gently as the almost-grown children shared words among one another.

at the shelter, moonwoman bustled with glowing face between the young ones and their mother, offering fish fat and elk meat, venison marrow; she spoke of densites to be found between the lake and the coppice, though the unused healing ulax were also a welcome place for raindrop to make her home.

"it is good you are here for rodyn also. i fear his heart has much pain." for samani. for moontide. aya! she could not take such things from him.

Thank you so much! Silvertip and Pine can be place in the ranks, as per Silvertip's player and PP permissions from Rainchaser (from our last contact) for pine. I'll get in touch with Mixed Hearts about being in Moonglow.

Raindrop was delighted that Kukutux already had a task in mind for her: Healing. Raindrop was fascinated with her previous healing classes, held by Moonwoman, and was pleased to be able to continue her learning. "Of course, Moonwoman. It would be an honor to further learn under you."

They continued on into the deeper parts of the territory, and when they reached a shelter, she and the children were offered many kinds of meat, and they readily ate them, and Raindrop especially enjoyed the Elk meat. She could not express her gratitude enough. They were also given options in the way of housing, densities in which they could call home. Raindrop took interest at mention of a densite near a lake. The healing dens, too, were an option. She and the children could explore further, after they have settled in.

Kukutux now spoke of Rodyn, and about the pain in the brave Alpha's heart. "I try my best. He is a brave man, kind and generous. He had given me a place to call home, after I first arrived here, in the Teekons. It's in my nature, to help others. I hope he can find healing. Healing of the heart."

On another note, Raindrop would love to know more about her new home's culture, and how to find her place among them, but that will be a conversation for another time.

got it <3

"i have this hope also," kukutux sighed softly.

her atsak's mind worked gently. "he has brought the traded goods from moontide. this too may be used to give status to you and to your children, raindrop." much had been gathered, and moonwoman meant to see that it was kept well.

"rest. share words with your children. it is cold and we do not go so often to the lake, but i will bring you soon there, to that place. i will show you how we make our pelts. there are other ways to do this after it has snowed," she said with assurance, a grin lighting on her mouth for a moment.
