Set for tomorrow, for anybody allowed in the den. <3
A day had gone by, and Sialuk roused from her slumber. Whimpering, she began to writhe around on the ground. Something in her midsection hurt, and her paws flailed helplessly on the furs that lined the den. Her four tiny, skinny legs couldn't support her now. In fact, they couldn't do much of anything.
She continued to whimper and moan, seeking attention and relief from whatever was giving her stomach the rumblies.

Alya did not feel the same right to Jarilo's children as she did to Hydra's, nor the same sort of pull. But they were still her niece and nephew, and honestly, she loved any pup, no matter their parentage. So she'd taken it upon herself to hunt a snow-white grouse from the neighboring valley and hike herself over to @Kukutux's den.
She could hear fussing already from inside; Alya announced herself with a quiet, friendly chuff and nosed the grouse closer to the den's dark maw.
"It's Alya," she called, her voice quiet and gentle. "I brought some food."

Some PP of @Kukutux, lemme know if I need to change anything. <3
Her mother, sweet as a southern tea, was quick to address her needs. All the small girl had needed was some coaxing from a motherly tongue and out came the waste that had been causing her pain. At once, the silvery child felt better and more at ease. She was wholly unaware of the other presence just outside the den, and instead made a move to get more food, crawling over her littermate and hoping to latch onto the nearest teat.

all good! sorry it took me some time to get this reply up
motherhood came easily to the tired kukutux. already she could not consider life without her little daughter and tiny son. if a day had passed it had been marked by her frequent naps and their more constant feeding.
the girl blinked in the darkened shelter as a woman's voice sounded. alya. one of the sable triplets that claimed the mountain. her breath hitched; the scent of the prey brought by her packmate caused a ripple of her stomach. sialuk was cleaned briskly and brought to her meal. "please come inside," kukutux said softly, unsure of how much space the huntress would have but wishing to be affable all the same.

Enveloped in a deep sleep, young Saviguk, only a day old, dreamed peaceably. Indistinguishable shapes danced behind eyelids far from ready for opening. He grunted softly, his tiny black button of a nose wriggling. One delicate paw, already tipped with fine nails, twitched sporadically while he slept. He found that during the first hours of his life, he preferred being close to all that was around him. There were two sources of warmth, one much greater than the other.
So when that cluster of silver fur that was @Sialuk began squirming about, his blissful nap came to an end. Groaning, a pitifully soft sound, the cinna-bun tried to gravitate towards her. But in the process while the dark boy became animated, he got a little turned around. Unaware that they had a visitor, he scooted his tiny body in the direction of @Alya. Blindly seeking, reaching. Oblivious to the giant black toe he was about to bump into.

Although she had hoped she would be granted entry, Alya was still surprised when Kukutux invited her in. The dark shewolf hesitated only a moment before ducking her head and shuffling inside, bringing the grouse along with her.
It was a tight fit between the four of them, but Alya did not take up too much space. "Here," she said as she pushed the grouse toward the nursing mother. And then, "They're beautiful. Who's this?"
She was referring to brave little Saviguk, clearly quite enamored with her nephew. Her head dipped automatically as she went to sniff the youngster, her tail wagging unconsciously behind her.

Mia, no need to tag me if I'm already in the thread. ;)
She found her mark, and soon after, the comforting voice of her mother. Sia could not, of course, hear her mother's voice. But she could feel it as she nursed. If she noticed her brother missing, the young silver did not protest, happy to be with food and mother. She would choose them over him... at least for now.

alya entered, and with her sustenance. kukutux took it gratefully, casting her fond gaze over her small, questing son. "that is saviguk," she murmured, taking a mouthful of butter-rich flesh from the bird's breast once she had plucked out a mouthful of feathers.
"and sialuk," she indicated of her feeding daughter. sustained by the rich meat, its coursing of blood, she glanced toward alya. "they are blessed to have so much of family around them."

Scents other than that of his mother and sister filled the air of the den. Two very distinct and different odors wafted to his nose. One was like him, Kukutux and Sialuk. Kind of. The other, well... It was completely and utterly different. Alien. Neither of them in particular were of any interest to him. Not such a young age. Letting his cold nose barely graze the fine dark hairs of Ayla's paw, he just as swiftly lost interest. Twisting awkwardly to scuttle his way back towards his mother and the scent of food, he grunted, frustrated with the terribly slow progress he was making.

Alya was wary of disturbing her sister in law, but the new mother seemed quite unphased by her looming presence in the den. Still, she refrained from coming much further in as she settled down, tail still wagging outside while her body nearly plugged the entrance.
"Hi, Savi," she cooed at the darker child, having already picked a favorite. She gave his soft, puppy fur a few tender prods with her nose before instinct took over, and she was trying to eat groom him. He tasted just as good as Hydra's children, and she found herself instantly attached to both of them, and to Kukutux as well.
"Family is the most important thing," she agreed, lying flat with her nose pointed toward Kukutux to see what Saviguk might do with her face. Her tail was still beating a happy tempo on the ground outside the den. "The only thing, really." But then she realized that Kukutux must have a family outside of Moonspear, and she felt a little silly for what her words must imply. "Where do you come from?" she asked, unable to help her curiosity. "Do their names mean anything? Does yours?"

alya's quick attachment to saviguk charmed and contented kukutux, relaxing her somewhat as she replenished herself with the meal the dark woman had brought. "he will call you ajakuluk, 'aunt who is loved,'" the girl observed gently, translating for alya the word that hydra had taught her.
at the other's inquiry, the moondrop's features closed a moment, a slight veiling of snow before she resurfaced. "i come from a place that is far. a dark and cold sea." hoping it would be sufficient, the girl nodded, pressing on. "water fell from the sky when she was given to me," kukutux said shyly, indicating sialuk. "a drop of rain. and saviguk was born quick, like ice. he is a piece of it," she finished lamely, wondering if her words had crossed into confusion.

The continued vibrations from her mother's voice began to lull Sialuk into a slumber, still occasionally suckling milk when something roused. Other than that, Sialuk was content and calm, not a particularly fussy child (yet).

sialuk had an easy nature; kukutux silently praised the spirits for making it so. her ears cupped to hear alya's words, added more of her own, and then her attention returned to her little son and slumbering daughter.
grateful, mother-made; she suddenly ached for jarilo and closed her eyes against the intensity of it as her mind slowly calmed.
