she was concerned that the young woman's fire-time had come while she was away from the village's protection.

and she had trust in rodyn. greenstone eyes watched to see if he would say anything.

Rodyn raced through his mind trying to remember who it was that moonwoman spoke of. Then he remembered, young, mouthy girl. Had one run in with her and he hadn't wanted another, but he nodded his head. He would do what he could.

There were new hunters, and old hunters so he would take. Kivaluk and that new wolf name started with a ch. That seemed well.

her eyes believed in him though her heart held much worry.

He leaned forward to press against her shoulder. A show of comfort, cause he knew she would worry. ANd she was like mother to him now. She was to be his mother in law as it were. His children were be born of her bloodline.

I will do my best Moonwoman. I will take Kivaluk and the new wolf Chakliux. I'd like to take the measure of the man.

Rodyn liked his place here. He loved moonwoman and Sunman as if they were his own. He loved Samani with the ember of a thousands suns. And he loved moonglow.

He would do this for them, for their village, for his wife. He would find Tulu because she was family. This was her village too.
