sorry for all the tags! wanted to make sure everything was visible! dated for sept 22nd

@Aiolos @Shikoba @Samani @Sakhmet @Kigipigak @Amalia @Kivaluk

optional! esp for mg peeps since i know everyone might be ranging between here and the mountain <3

so long as the hunters moved back to their first camp, kukutux was filled with delight that they should all come to moonglow.

she brought with her shy, sweet ariadne, inviting callyope as well.

she too had thoughts similar to those of the winterhawk.

and it was his scent that kukutux found first. so he had come back! she rushed ahead, laughing, and arrived at the border of the fierce and beautiful river with no wrap and much joy.

"sakhmet! has kiggavik returned?" her voice rung out, but her eyes searched for his familar form.

She would greet the Moonwoman in a flurry of warmth.

Unwilling for this to be another reunion like Kigipigak had just endured!

Only just! She was breathless, emotional. Churned greatly by the extension and love of Moonglow in these times. Kukutux had not needed to do any of this.

Yet she had provided all the same.

I have missed you.

She confessed, in a soft whisper for women's ears.

Callyope did not know what to make of everything still.

But she was dutiful. She tended to things alongside her mother, she kept the mourning of missing home in her heart.

She thought of the boy she called Dying Sun.

She thought of Mojag returning to an empty village.

She stayed still, in the background of her Moonwoman and Issumatar.

Amalia moved with purpose and found the moonwoman and her children. She moved closer to the gentle Callyope after a friendly greeting to Kukutux.

She settled next to the quiet girl, her heart going out to her. Callyope was not as happy as she had been, and it smarted. She nudged the girl gently and settled to her haunches beside. Close enough to touch if the girl wished too, but far enough away in case she didn't.

THen she listened, ears forward waiting patiently.

Kigipigak arrived later than his wife, but he brought with him his sons, who followed alongside and Tulukiri who kept a good distance to the rear. When he caught sight of Kukutux and the rest of Moonglow gathering together - some making camp, others roaming further off - he was surprised and pleased.

He swept up to where the women waited together, beaming with his usual grin despite the fresh cuts upon his face. Moonwoman! You are here! Is it winter already? As if he had not been gone any length of time at all.

The newest addition to Natigvik kept a close eye on both brothers, at least until more bodies became visible to her, and she branched away from the rear guard to circle around and observe. Her initial thought was that these were warriors come to fight against Tulimaq, should the man choose to seek revenge.

Instead, Tulukiri's eyes were met with half-grown children who looked too soft for war. A woman which held both the attention of her master and the Issumatar. A red-coated man accompanied the so-called moonwoman (a strange title she overheard Kigipigak use as she crept by).

Tulukiri was perplexed, but for once she remained silent and dutiful as she observed.

kukutux grinned widely at the issumatar, then turned a loving look upon her kinsman. "the winter has come early this year," she said with a shrug, eyes dancing beneath the two of them.

she loved to see her clan reunited.

"we have made first-camp at the foot of the mountain, there." her gaze grew solemn. "a single hunter stands to take the place that was once moonspear. i have not seen him in some months. but we keep our eye there too, while we are in natigvik."

she did not miss callyope's sadness, and invited the girl closer. "i have sent samani to make second-camp. she will join with what hunters come to her."

I think since Siv is busy, I'll continue? New order could be Kigi > Amalia > Kuku just so we can close up?

Kukutux informed them of their first camp, and to expect a second. Kigipigak remembered the names of her children and was delighted to hear that they were running now with them; it made him feel somehow old and young at once, and very proud of her, as well as his own people.

Her expression cooled slightly and Kigipigak was surprised to hear of another wolf laying claim to the spire, although he did not know its full significance to the moonwoman. The man gave a nod but said nothing - they were far removed by being here in Natigvik, so all he could really do was listen.

Samani would come to join them. At this Kigipigak grinned. I will send my son Kivaluk with her, then! And perhaps the girl Tulukiri, if she is amicable. Knowing the new recruit, that wouldn't be a difficult order to give, but they were very different people and might not work together well. That would look poorly to Natigvik.

There was another girl there with Kukutux, though. This one Kigipigak could not recall meeting, but he might've once, and he smiled to her warmly; she was quiet though, and kept to herself. Amalia, the man called to his own amaguk who waited - let us give a warm welcome to our kin, and help them with their camp.

In this way he would offer up all that Natigvik had for Moonglow to thrive, as this was a time of great joy, and he was happy to provide.

Amalia listened, but didn't comment. Allowing the leaders to speak. Besides she was content in her silence near the story telling callyope.

Of course.

She immediately moved into action. Greeting those she hadn't and helping to set what was needed. Though she admitedly stuck close to Callyope, she felt the girl needed her more than others, though why she couldn't say.

they would build their camps.

for a long while, the air was filled with laughing, with the sound of good words and eating and old words, old stories.

moonglow and natigvik would be one.
